How Testosterone Causes Men to Have an Unfair Advantage Against Women in Sports — Psychology
This video explores the physiological and psychological distinctions between men and women, focusing specifically on the impact of testosterone in the realm of competitive sports. The creator, Derek Van Schaik, aims to address the biological factors that contribute to athletic performance differences, moving past the simplified notion that gender differences are merely external. By examining how hormones shape physical development, the content provides a framework for understanding why certain physical advantages exist in male-dominated categories and how these translate into the sporting world.
A significant portion of the discussion centers on the role of testosterone in building muscle mass, increasing bone density, and enhancing overall explosive power. The video uses these biological markers to explain why men often exhibit higher performance levels in strength and speed-based activities. It also touches upon the psychological aspects of competition, suggesting that biology and psychology are intertwined when it comes to the drive and physical capability required for professional sports.
Furthermore, the video addresses the controversial topic of trans women participating in women’s sports. Instead of providing a definitive answer, the narrator presents psychological concepts and biological data to encourage viewers to form their own conclusions about league structure and fairness. The creator emphasizes that the content is intended for educational and analytical purposes, utilizing a background in various psychology niches to offer a nuanced perspective on a highly debated social issue.
Overall, the video serves as a commentary on the intersection of biology, psychology, and athletics. It seeks to inform the audience about the foundational differences between the sexes while inviting public discourse on how these differences should be handled in modern sporting regulations. Through this lens, the video attempts to break down complex scientific and social topics into accessible insights for a general audience.

Watch How The View's Hive Mentality Caused Them to Hilariously Defend Karmelo Anthony — Psychology
In this video, Derek Van Schaik provides a forensic psychological analysis of a specific segment from the talk show The View. The commentary focuses on the hosts' collective defense of Karmelo Anthony, who asserted a claim of self-defense in a high-profile case. Van Schaik scrutinizes the arguments presented by the hosts, characterizing their support as a byproduct of hive mentality rather than a balanced evaluation of the facts. By using forensic psychology as a lens, he aims to reveal the underlying mechanisms that led the group to justify what he describes as a bogus claim.
A central theme of the video is the exploration of hive mentality and how it manifests in media environments. Van Schaik breaks down the interaction between the hosts to show how they reinforce one another’s perspectives, creating a cohesive but potentially biased narrative. This psychological phenomenon often discourages dissenting opinions and can lead to a distorted perception of reality, especially in emotionally charged legal situations. The video highlights how the desire for group consensus can sometimes override objective analysis and critical thinking.
Ultimately, the video serves an educational purpose by applying psychological concepts to real-world media commentary. While it is intended for entertainment and analytical purposes, it encourages viewers to think critically about how information is presented on television and the social pressures that shape public opinion. By examining the Karmelo Anthony case through this specific lens, Van Schaik provides his audience with a deeper understanding of human behavior, social influence, and the complexities of forensic psychology in the public eye.

Inside Cole Allen's Psychotic Mind & Why He Attempted An Assassination Rampage — Forensic Psychology
This video, produced by Derek Van Schaik, provides an in-depth forensic psychology analysis of Cole Tomas Allen, a 31-year-old who allegedly attempted a high-profile assassination rampage. The incident reportedly took place during the White House Correspondents Dinner on the evening of April 25, 2026. The analysis centers on the disturbing details of the event, specifically focusing on Allen’s choice of targets, which allegedly included nearly the entire Trump Administration with the notable exception of Kash Patel.
The content explores the intricate and often "psychotic" mindset required to plan such a large-scale attack within a heavily secured environment. Van Schaik breaks down the behavioral oddities of the evening and uses psychological concepts to explain the possible motivations behind Allen’s actions. A significant portion of the video is dedicated to examining why the media has become so intensely fixated on this specific story and what that obsession reveals about the public’s perception of political violence and mental health.
Beyond the immediate details of the crime, the video serves as an educational tool, applying forensic and political psychology to analyze real-world events. It encourages viewers to look closer at the anomalies of the case and participate in a discussion regarding the perpetrator's mental state. While the video offers a deep dive into these psychological profiles, it maintains a clear boundary by stating that the analysis is for educational purposes and does not constitute clinical diagnosis or treatment advice.
By connecting this event to broader psychological themes—such as how individuals can be manipulated or how certain personality traits manifest in extreme behavior—the video provides a comprehensive look at a modern tragedy. It also references other psychological phenomena, such as mentalism and mind-reading techniques, to provide a well-rounded perspective on how the human mind can be interpreted and understood in high-stakes scenarios.

How Secret Service Missed EVERY Shot on Cole Allen & Why A K9 Spotted the Threat First — Psychology
This video provides an in-depth forensic psychology analysis of a high-stakes incident involving Cole Allen, a 31-year-old individual who attempted a political assassination. The creator, Derek Van Schaik, utilizes newly released high-quality security footage to examine the tactical and psychological aspects of the confrontation. The primary focus of the breakdown is to understand how the Secret Service missed every shot fired at the suspect and why the situation unfolded the way it did under extreme pressure.
A significant portion of the analysis is dedicated to the role of a K9 unit on the scene. The video explores the biological and psychological reasons why a dog was able to perceive Cole Allen as a genuine threat before the human officers could react. By comparing animal instincts with human cognitive processing, the video highlights how sensory perception and behavioral cues play a vital role in threat detection during chaotic environments.
Furthermore, the content delves into the "why" behind the Secret Service's performance, using body language analysis and psychological concepts to explain the agents' responses. Van Schaik examines the physiological effects of high-stress situations on accuracy and decision-making. The video serves as an educational tool, offering viewers a detailed look at the intersection of forensic psychology, human behavior, and law enforcement tactics without providing clinical or medical advice.

Why So Many NASA & Nuclear Scientists Are Suddenly Mysteriously Disappearing — Forensic Psychology
This video investigates the unsettling and mysterious cases of eleven NASA and nuclear scientists who have either disappeared or died under suspicious circumstances. Through the analytical lens of forensic psychology, the content attempts to bridge the gap between reported facts and the underlying patterns that might suggest a more coordinated effort behind these events. By breaking down the available evidence, the narrator explores whether these occurrences are isolated tragedies or part of a larger, more calculated geopolitical agenda.
The core of the analysis focuses on the high-stakes nature of the work these scientists performed. Given their involvement in sensitive fields like space exploration and nuclear technology, the video examines the potential motivations for their removal. Forensic psychology is used to profile the likely causes, looking at behavioral cues and the logistical details of each case. This approach helps viewers understand the risks associated with possessing state-level secrets and the possible involvement of foreign intelligence agencies or domestic cover-ups.
Beyond the investigation, the video encourages audience participation by posing questions about international responsibility and the potential for espionage. It serves as a deep dive into the intersection of science, national security, and psychological profiling. While the content is presented as educational and analytical commentary, it challenges the viewer to look beyond official narratives and consider the strategic implications of losing some of the world's most brilliant scientific minds in such a short span of time.

Why Karmelo Anthony Did It & How He Got Caught Red-Handed On Police Body Cam — Forensic Psychology
This forensic psychology video explores the legal and behavioral complexities surrounding the case of Karmelo Anthony and the incident involving Austin Metcalf. Through a detailed breakdown of newly released surveillance footage and police body camera recordings, the analysis examines the behavioral patterns and body language displayed by Anthony during and after the confrontation. The primary objective of the video is to deconstruct Anthony’s claims of self-defense, which the narrator argues are contradicted by the physical evidence captured on camera.
The narrative begins with a frame-by-frame investigation into the exact moment the incident occurred. By utilizing principles of forensic psychology, the video highlights specific cues in Anthony’s behavior that suggest aggression rather than a reactive, defensive posture. The analysis points out how the physical movements and timing captured on the surveillance footage do not align with the version of events Anthony provided to law enforcement, suggesting his claims were manufactured to avoid legal consequences.
Furthermore, the video scrutinizes the police body camera footage to observe Anthony’s immediate reactions and verbal statements when questioned by officers. The analysis focuses on psychological "tells," such as verbal inconsistencies and non-verbal signals that often indicate deception or a lack of genuine distress. This psychological deep dive provides viewers with an educational perspective on how experts interpret high-stress interactions and the ways in which body language can reveal a person's true intentions.
Ultimately, the video serves as an analytical commentary on the discrepancy between a legal defense and the reality of a situation. By combining visual evidence with psychological concepts, it seeks to prove that the "red-handed" evidence from the scene provides a much clearer picture of the event than the initial reports suggested.

What It's Like to Interrogate a Ruthless Manipulator
This JCS Inspired video contains the interview of a woman accused of abusing and murdering her disabled five-year-old son, and then burying him in the yard. In December of 2017, police received a call from a man serving overseas, asking them to perform a wellness check. The man claimed that his brother, Christopher Rodriguez, and his girlfriend, Larissa Rodriguez, had killed a child and buried him in the yard. Officers arrived, and while there were several children, none of them matched the description of the one they were looking for. The yard appeared undisturbed, but Jordan had been buried for three months, giving the ground time to settle. The house was in horrible condition. Infested with rats and bed bugs, a stomach-churning discovery was made when one of the children was found eating a sandwich that contained cockroaches. For months, the social worker assigned to the family had been bribed with food stamps by Larissa. The social worker failed to check the home, and this prolonged the discovery of Jordan’s death. As always, we'll also find a bit about the psychology behind the interrogation and what is most likely happening in the mind of the suspect. This is the interrogation of Larissa Rodriguez. Most Shocking Interrogation You've Ever Seen
In this JCS Inspired video, we’re going to watch the questioning of a man who is trying to hide the fact that he murdered and dismembered his wife. On June 4, 2018, Cassandritz Blanc shot his wife, Martine Bernard for supposedly disrespecting him. She was six months pregnant at the time. Five days later, while her body was still in their apartment, Blanc went to the home of his inlaws. His mother-in-law was in the shower, and for reasons he has never made clear, Blanc shot his father-in-law, Roosevelt Bernard in the childhood bedroom of Martine. He then locked the door and told his mother-in-law that Roosevelt had stepped out to talk to a Hispanic man. Blanc waited until the house was empty, and then placed the body in a trashcan and took it to an empty field, where he set it on fire. As always, we'll also find a bit about the psychology behind the interrogation and what is most likely happening in the mind of the suspect. This is the interrogation of Cassandritz Blanc. The Strange Case of Jonte Harris
The first 1,000 people to use my link will get a 1 month free trial of Skillshare:👇 https://ift.tt/0bRqVvo Today’s JCS Inspired video features a man accused of abusing a five-year-old child so badly, that she dies from her injuries. In October 2018, 5-year-old Zykerria Robinson was spending the evening like any typical child her age; playing, watching television, and occasionally pushing boundaries with the adults in her life. Unfortunately for Zykerria, her mother’s boyfriend, Jonte Harris, lacked the parental understanding needed to gently correct normal childhood misbehavior. Instead, Harris severely beat Zykerria until she lost consciousness. Zykerria’s mother, Michelle Cannimore, allowed her child to lie on the couch, completely unresponsive, for five hours until she took her to the emergency room. Harris and Cannimore concocted a story about Zykerria falling and hurting herself in the shower, but detectives became suspicious when the evidence didn't bear out their claims. Will Scammers Notice Windows Really Good Edition - [full 2.5+hrs]
This video features Kitboga, a well-known scambaiter who uses humor and technology to waste the time of malicious tech support scammers. In this extended session, which spans over two and a half hours, he introduces a custom-built, parody operating system designed specifically to frustrate and confuse those attempting to gain remote access to his computer. By engaging these criminals in lengthy conversations, he prevents them from targeting real, vulnerable victims during that time.
The centerpiece of this call is "Windows Really Good Edition," a fake version of the Windows operating system created by Kitboga and his community. This version is filled with nonsensical menus, bizarre sound effects, and parody software that mimics the look of a real desktop but functions in entirely unpredictable ways. The goal is to see if the scammers, who claim to be highly trained technical professionals, will notice the obvious absurdities or if they will blindly follow their scripts in an attempt to steal money.
Throughout the interaction, viewers see the scammers struggle as their standard tactics fail. Common commands and tools used to "prove" a computer is infected do not work as expected within the simulated environment. The video captures the scammers' increasing frustration and their desperate attempts to rationalize the strange interface of the fake OS. This provides a unique look into the psychology of scammers when they are forced off-script and confronted with a reality that does not fit their fraudulent narrative.
As a mostly unedited, long-form version of the encounter, this video offers a deep dive into the patience required for effective scambaiting. It highlights the persistence of these criminals, who are willing to stay on the line for hours even when faced with a ridiculous and clearly non-functional operating system. Ultimately, the content serves as both entertainment and an educational tool, raising awareness about the methods used in tech support scams and encouraging viewers to remain vigilant against such deceptive practices.

I Turned a Cute Colony Game Into a Serial Killer Simulator - Founders' Fortune
This is what happens when you realize your able-bodied colonists lack human empathy and are down to kill anyone, anytime, anywhere. And also eventually figure out how to wield unstoppable magical future tech. Subscribe if you enjoy! ► http://bit.ly/letsgameitout_show Twitter ► https://twitter.com/letsgameitout Facebook ► https://bit.ly/3trrYqF ---------- Check it out on Steam! ► https://bit.ly/3f6qzSq More about Founder's Fortune (from Steam): A fantasy colony simulator focusing on creative building, colonist psychology and base defense. Handle resources, farming, production, tools, weapons, armor, trading, defense, and research, as well as the wishes, expectations, thoughts, and possessions of every colonist. Build Your Colony When your colonists arrive, they have nothing but the clothes on their backs. You take control and tell them to gather materials and build walls, floors and furniture. You are not limited to predefined buildings! Design your own houses and style them to your liking. There are dozens of construction and furniture elements that you can use to create the settlement you’ve always dreamed of! Take Care Of Your Colonists The colonists are your top priority. At first, you simply need to provide them with food and shelter. But the world is full of dangers! An infection might prove fatal to the strongest warrior and a plague can wipe out your entire colony. Each colonist reacts to events, happy or sad, and reflects that in their behavior. Happy colonists will receive a boost to their productivity – Unhappy colonists might throw a temper tantrum. Deal With Tantrums In an ideal life, all your wishes come true, at least that’s what Toni thinks. Fulfilled wishes can promote good moods, while hunger, injuries, boring conversations, or even nightmares will make your citizens feel bad. If you ignore the needs and wishes of your colonists for too long, one of them might have a breakdown and throw a trantrum. At That Point, All Bets Are Off… Set up your Farm Food matters. Good food makes colonists happy, wrong food makes colonists sick, little food makes colonists slow, and no food makes colonists die. Grow a variety of seasonal crops and set up a kitchen to make delicious meals. Be sure to stock up before winter hits and act quick when a swarm of hungry bugs descends upon your fields! Survive Winter Use the time you have and make sure you have enough food stored away, for winter is coming. Let’s hope you won’t have to halve rations – because that will make your colonists weak. When supplies dwindle and the freezing cold wind howls outside, it’s easy to lose hope. Trade Goods and Get Rich Word got around that your colony has started producing wares. Greet traveling traders and see if you can get a good deal on some ancient scrolls or buy additional food to prepare for winter. Try to keep production up so you’ll always have something to sell. A mature colony needs to pay good salaries to keep everyone happy. If morale is low, additional funds can even buy a tiny bit of happiness! Research Technologies Building your home is a long process and resources and manpower are not the only things you need. Smart Settlers dedicate a lot of time to researching new technologies, thereby unlocking better equipment, new furniture and construction elements. Select scholars carefully – if their personality doesn’t fit this type of work, they are not going to make a lot of progress. Protect Your Outpost You are not alone in this new land you call ‘home’. The Tikigoblins living there are not all that happy about your settling efforts and might pay you a visit to try to get you to stop. Train your colonists in the art of warfare and equip them with the best weapons and armor you have. Build walls and towers to ensure the security of your colony – that way, your enemies will have a difficult time trying to mess with you! ---------- I Turned a Cute Colony Game Into a Serial Killer Simulator - Founders' Fortune - Let's Game It Out #LetsGameItOut #Simulation #Colony
